Jane and her wonderful family have been our friends for over a decade. I was so excited when Jane introduced me to her “Every Word We Utter” sculpture; a piece to honor the work of the women behind the 19th Amendment and the Women’s Suffrage Movement. After learning the history behind Jane’s vision of her sculpture and watching the video they made, I was deeply moved. I shared the video and history of the sculpture with my daughter and her teenage friends; they were moved to tears. I knew I had to spread Jane’s vision and work. So, I am starting a movement with Jane, her family, and a community to support Jane to create this large, bronze sculpture to be placed in a location of national prominence to inspire future generations. We are launching this Every Word We Utter movement and crowdsourcing to build this sculpture. I feel it is our time to pick up the baton and carry this movement onto future generations. Who knows what ripples Jane’s art can create, inspire, and continue the movement…
